Megan + Andrew

“Jam is the absolute bees knees! From our very first meeting we knew Jam was the celebrant for us. Her passion and zest for love just radiates off her! She ensures your ceremony (and reception if you get her to MC! We did and it was awesome) is full of who you are and exactly what you want. Cannot reccomend getting hitched by Jam enough!”

Megan and Andrew’s paths crossed when they were both at uni and cast in seperate productions of the musical ‘Motormouth Loves Suckface’. As fate would have it, they came to share the same castmate/housemate. All thanks to our old mate Luke for showing Andrew a photo of Megan. Thus Andrew found the girl of his dreams.

Andrew managed to score a date with the girl of his dreams a few years later thanks to their shared love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer IYKYK. So naturally there were cute nods to Buffy on their wedding day, in the form of a giant heart featuring their names with a steak through it as well as Megan walking into the ceremony to the tune of ‘Under Your Spell’.

Megan had organised for them to go glamping in Dayleford one year for Andrew’s birthday. It was on that trip, where Megan first brought Andrew to the majestic Lavadula Farm and hinted that she’d wanted to get married here one day. Andrew calls it foreshadowing, but I’d like to call it manifesting.

For Andrew and Megan’s wedding day, they had manifested the most magical wedding celebration at Lavendula. On the day, I drove through stormy grey clouds to emerge into this beautiful lush paradise within Lavendula. The lovely new owners of Lavandula, Bess and her husband, were on hand to put the finishing touches to the set up alongside wedding planner/stylist Dani and her mum Maria from Logan Events. All the action from the day was expertly captured by the wiz that is Nathan from Analog Modern.

Andrew and Megan’s ceremony was full of heart and had their love story shining through. At the end of the ceremony they had put special stickers on the bottoms of two chairs within the audience to help them select their official legal witnesses to their marriage, a really fun way to engage your loved ones on the day.

Our newlyweds then hosted their delicious reception soiree under a most magnificent garden marquee, featuring long tables with ample space for a roaring dancefloor. I had the pleasure of staying on to MC into the night. Nothing brought me more joy than to see our newlyweds perform their wonderful first dance and then inviting guests to join them on the dancefloor with paddle pops featuring their kitty cat Grink.
