Anita and Paul’s wedding was packed with signs for a happy married life.

Our sweethearts choose the auspicious date of 10.10.2026 as their wedding day, held at the gorgeous Quat Quatta mansion in Ripponlea. Honouring Anita’s Chinese heritage, the colour red is the hero in the the floral designs by Soflower. The same bold red is carried through to the bridesmaids dresses.

Our newlyweds then walked into their reception party to be greeted by the incredible 7 layered cake by Good Good Cake, it’s a feat to be seen, with the Chinese character for ‘Double Happiness’ 喜喜 adorning the masterpiece.

Once the speeches wrapped up, guests were treated to a spectacular Chinese lion dance performance. This pair of Chinese wedding lions bring good luck, prosperity and traditional blessings through presenting the newlyweds with auspicious scrolls.

The night ended with Anita tossing her bouquet from the upstairs balcony to the guests below.

A joy seeing Anita and Paul bringing elements from their cultural heritage into the modern context to help make their day extra spectacular.
